We as Zeta Tau Alpha sisters have been taught "to be humble in success" so when our chapter takes a moment to praise our sisters it is to honor their hard work for the love of the fraternity.
Convention Awards
Alumnae Crown Chapter - This award recognizes alumnae chapters that have attained a standard of excellence each year of the biennium. The Vice Presidents Alumnae recommend eligible chapters for all of National Council to vote on and select.
Fredericksburg, founded as a club in 1979, became a chapter in 2016. The 2018 Convention in Orlando was our first Convention as a chapter.

Virginia Zeta Day Awards
Individual Awards
Certificate of Merit Honorees - The Certificate of Merit is given by the Fraternity to a sister who has had at least seven years of significant post college service to ZTA. It is a unanimous decision by National Council and is one of the highest honors that a sister can receive. Our chapter has several members, past and present, who have received this honor.

The Order of the Shield Recognition Ceremony at the annual Zeta Day honors our sisters who prove Zeta really is forever. In this beautiful ceremony we commemorate 50 and 75 years of Fraternity membership. Congratulations and thank you for being Zetas True!

Club/Chapter Awards
Membership Increase - Provided to chapters that have at least a 10% increase in membership from the previous year.
Major Donor Award - Provided to chapters that provide a designated donation to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation.

We are honored when recognized. However, living The Creed of Zeta Tau Alpha is what we strive for day in and day out, "remembering always that the foundation precept of Zeta Tau Alpha was Love, 'the greatest of all things.'"
Thank you to each of our sisters for living The Creed daily. Whether we get formally recognized or not, you are special to this chapter and we appreciate all the hard work you do for our beloved Zeta Tau Alpha. And yes, a lot of it is fun!
